One Day At A Time

It's hard to believe it's the end of January already. Where does the time go?
Yesterday and today were both productive days. Yesterday, I didn't do much, but John and his dad cleaned up the yard out front and the backyard. I think in a few weeks, I'll go and start organizing my greenhouse for the upcoming spring. It's been very warm this winter, and I think we'll have an early spring. (at least I hope)
Today, I decided to organize my filing cabinet and computer desk. It took me a majority of the day to go through all my files, old receipts, etc. Shredding takes forever it seams... !

John is back to class tonight, so I am trying to figure out what I want to do first to keep myself busy. I have so many things I can do... Organize the bookshelf, organize the bedroom, etc. I guess spring cleaning has gotten under my skin already. I could even work on my crafting projects. That might be nice too. Maybe even take Thea's old chair out of the living room, and bring my crafting table and such out in the light... where I could work on stuff. It might work, since we're not going to use the fireplace anymore this year.

Frustrated

It's beautiful outside, the temperature is in the 60's, the sun is shining... it's quite lovely. We even got some things done today that we needed to do.

I just wish the college had their stuff together and had John's paperwork all completed. We turned in everything before Christmas, and they have just been taking their time to get it all done... and we don't believe anyone there knows what they are doing. :/

On another note, I am looking forward to spending time with some friends tomorrow. I am meeting a my friend Ranie in the morning to walk around and help her sign up for a sewing class, and then later in the evening, John and I are going over to Jack and Tracee's house to hang out with them for a while.

Then Sunday, we will pick up our daughter and spend the day with her... not sure doing what yet, but we'll figure it out. Hope the rest of today goes okay.

Woke up kinda late today... didn't sleep well.
I finally got an email from financial aid today from CSU that they received all the paperwork they needed... now it's just a matter of time when I am ready to register for classes. I can't wait! It will be nice to get started on my Bachelor's degree finally, and make something of myself. I want my family to be proud of me.

It will be an interesting start for a new year. John was able to add classes for his degree program. He has class tonight, and I am going with him to hang out at the campus. (Bringing my computer along for the ride). I was planning to do some research on which classes I want to take and when, etc etc... I will have to take the HDEV classes starting in the fall (full time program), and hopefully it wont take me long to finish my degree. As it stands, I will have to most likely go back to work, before I am done with my degree.
